We visited our favorite restaurant in Dallas, Villa O, and Trevor was the cutest kid in the joint! Click HERE for the article

Trevor loves to splash and loves the water, even when it is dumped over his head so we are taking full advantage and getting him started early. Baby swim lessons at SMU every Tuesday night. It is all kinds of adorable.I was feeling like a bad mother because every time I picked up Trevor from daycare he was the only one with no shoes and no socks on. There are 5 other kids at his daycare, the 5 month old cute little baby girl who always has frilly tights or cute shoes, two 1 year olds with little Velcro shoes and two 2 year olds with fancy sneakers. In my defense, he doesn't really NEED shoes. He isn't walking yet...but, it is getting chilly here and he crawls his socks right off (which is why I don't put them on him for daycare...I would never see them again!).
So, off I went to BBRU yesterday determined to get him some shoes. They had Nike (Darren would not be happy with that, he hates Nike) and fancy Puma shoes. $30.00. I try not to spend $30.00 on my shoes at DSW and my shoe size won't change in a few months. Little T was waving his little naked feet in the shopping cart while I slipped on different versions of shoes for him.
I settled on these cute slippers- easy to get on, can't crawl them off, will keep his toes warm, don't need socks AND 1/2 the price of the fancy brands. GREAT! As I was taking them off to put his PJ's on (he wore them out of the store) I realized that they looked just like Hugh Hefner's slippers. So, there you have it...Trevor is already livin' the Playboy lifestyle!
