Pee Pee On The Potty!

I didn't take a picture of it...but, Trevor actually peed while on the toilet last night.  We just have the "seat adapter" method and he likes to just sit there, hanging his feet and say "mama sit!" or "mama bye-bye" depending on his mood.  We sit for a while, he sings, he grabs as much toilet paper as he can sneak (the one sheet rule isn't very popular).  But!  For the first time...he actually peed while sitting there.  It was exciting, take my word for it!

Pay it forward....

I am not sure of all the principles of Pay It Forward.  But, I can say that all of my friend's overwhelming generosity with baby/kid things makes me want to do the same for others.  I love seeing Trevor in an outfit that I can say was given to him by Justice and to be able to see Christopher on FB in one of Trevor's cute shirts.  It takes a village and I have such wonderful people in mine!  Take Trevor's room, for example.  We have 2 bookshelves from Nanny and this awesome big boy bed and PB linens from Susan.

I think that a hodge podge room has so much more character than a single theme, and its much cheaper!  The central theme is a palate of colors, some monkeys and geometric shapes but it is a very broad concept. 

The most expensive thing in the room is the chair.  Trevor was 7 days old and had acid reflux so he would only sleep on my chest.  I was desperate to get some sleep and the Lazy Boy chair moves in 2 pieces in the back of the CRV.  No waiting for delivery, load it up!  I don't care that it is $700.  Yikes!

I had bought the clock with decals that I put up in our old apartment so I used new decals to create a new clock face to put our wall clock back up.

1. Ask mama to dump all his balls in his crib with him
2. Tell Mama, "mama bye, bye"
3. Stay in bed for at least 30 minutes, playing with ALL the balls
4. Throw them all out, eventually, and ask mama to come in an pick them all up!

Coloring Table- On A Budget

Start with some cheap ($6.99 ea) chairs from Tuesday Morning
A paper towel holder and 3M strips from Home Depot

Attach the paper towel holder on the underside of an IKEA side table ($7.99).  Get an activity role from Michaels and you are good to go!
If you can get a straight paper towel holder, it would be better.  the curve at the end of this one is too short for the paper roll.  Next time!

But, the real reason for this post is because although I feel like I can be two people at the same time...I think it is time for me to just live in my one amazing life.  So, if you had access to my "other" blog, I have decided that it was time for me to take it down.  Everything will be right here.  Living in the little moments of my amazing life!

Gabba Land

I found that finding Trevor's friends from Gabba Land was much harder than actually making the bag!  $60 for a stuffed Muno...hell-to-the-NO!  So, I settled for a set of 5 Gabba friends for the bathtub and used Plex, the magic robot as our bag friend. 

I put the rest of the Gabba Land friends on the shelf under the TV, lined up and waiting for Trevor when he got up this morning.  He looked like it was Christmas morning when he finally noticed them.  He spent the rest of the morning carrying Muno, Fuffa, Tutie and Brobee around like he was collecting acorns.  So cute!  I hope he is as excited when he finds out where Plex has been hiding when I bring out the bag for him on Halloween.

Spent my lunch shopping at City Craft and JoAnn Fabric for craft night next Tuesday.  I think we will need to have 3 more craft nights just to get started on all the projects I want to tackle right now.  But, project #1 is recreating this YGG bag for my man, Trevor!  Pictures from craft night will be posted next week!
