The lines for Santa at the Mall are way too long and the truth is kids Trevor and Sophie's age HATE sitting with Santa anyway. In the spirit of "Simplicity" parenting I decided that I didn't HAVE to have a screaming picture of Trevor's first visit to Santa. It wouldn't be the end of the world if we didn't document Baby's First Christmas in the traditional way. On the contrary, it would be the end of my sanity to have to entertain Trevor while standing in line for something that he will ultimately hate. SMU oversees the on campus day care center (which has a waiting list so it's not where Trevor goes) and our facilities manager Gregg dresses up like Santa for them. Gregg was nice enough to dress up like Santa in the office so that Ali and I could try to get some Holiday shots with our kids, without the
hassle. When Santa is holding a
dataphone and Trevor won't go to him....you know that there is something WRONG with Santa! Trevor finally got the Blackberry he always wanted and was happy, once again!
